Gabourey Sidibe SECRETLY MARRIED Brandon Frankel Over a Year Ago
Gabourey Sidibe is growing her family empire.
In, fact, it is expanding by two. The Empire alum revealed that she and husband Brandon Frankel are expecting twins, sharing a snap of her and Brandon posing together with each of them placing a hand on her baby bump.
"I'm pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we're giving them each a baby to take care of!" Gabourey captioned her Instagram post. "Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!คำพูดจาก Game Casino! Twin Delivery coming soon! Twinty Twinty Four!!"

Brandon even joked about lifting double the strollers on his Instagram Stories, writing, "Now y'all know why I've been putting in extra hours on the arms."
Over the years Gabourey and Brandon have kept their romance out of the spotlight. In fact, the Precious star didn't reveal they had wed until more than a year after their 2021 nuptials.

"The thing about weddings is I don't like them," Gabourey explained on Live with Kelly and Ryan in December 2022 as she dropped the breaking marriage news. "Here's an example of how much I don't like them—I'm actually married. We got married over a year ago."

And the secret marriage was just one part in a long line of nontraditional planning the Oscar nominee wanted for her nuptials.
"The entire time we have been engaged, I've always been like, 'No, we shouldn't have a wedding.' Maybe we'll throw a barbecue, get married in the bathroom, and then we'll come out and tell everyone we're married," she told Brides earlier that year. "It cannot be a traditional wedding. Really, it can't be. I don't want anything done the 'traditional' way."
"Our relationship is very much on our terms," she added, "and I want it to be fun, like a true party."
